Clayton Yoga Teacher Training: Awarded the First Certified Yoga Training School in Missouri

Michelle Maue, the founder of Clayton Yoga began her own yoga teacher training program when she discovered how difficult it was to learn how to become a yoga instructor.  Over 15 years ago, Michelle Maue took her first yoga class and loved it!  After practicing yoga for nearly a year, she knew the element of  non-competition or collaboration would be something truly beneficial to give the world.

Travelling to find many great yoga workshops, Michelle journeyed over 10 times to Chicago and Michigan and trained with some of the best yoga instructors in the country, including Jonny Kest, Bryan Kest, Seane Corne, Tias Little and Ana Forest.

After acquiring her Yoga Alliance certification to teach in August 2001, Michelle began enthusiastically teaching corporate yoga and later opening her own yoga studio.  Today she has taught over 350 yoga teachers.  She inspires other teachers to honor their setbacks, continue to take risks, and cultivate ahimsa, or non-harm.

The yoga teacher training in this video covers the primary standing sequence of Ashtanga, an excellent overall conditioning for the body.  Each teacher trainee is encouraged to listen to their own inner teacher.  What is wonderful about this teacher training says Linda Ball, a Clayton Yoga graduate is that “the material is presented in a very clear and non-dogmatic manner, thus encouraging each student to be their unique self”.

The training teaches the relevant basics of great yoga including but not limited to: Breathing, Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Sequence Development, Anatomy, Modifications for more advanced postures and marketing your business.  Many of our yoga graduates go on to start remarkable enterprises in yoga. Many students say that they love the combination of yoga and marketing the best.  And of course the ability to learn how to inspire and motivate others by their own example, bringing more balance and cooperation to this world.

Our next Yoga Teacher Training event begins January 19th and 20th, 2013 and to sign up for this training and more information, again please click: http://claytonyoga.com/clayton-yoga-teacher-training-courses/
