90 Minute Thai Yoga Massage at Clayton Yoga

13105291_sThai Yoga Massage is a 2,500 year old practice that has ancient roots in holistic healing. Thai Yoga is a unique form of sacred bodywork which combines rhythmic massage, acupressure, yoga stretching, gentle twisting, energy work and meditation to achieve balance, well-being and inspired living.

Thai Yoga includes but is not limited to Ayurveda, massage, Buddhist spiritual practice, energy work and meditation. As you become more present in the Thai Yoga session, you will experience layer by layer of anxiety, tension and depression leave the body. As a result of this, we experience more vital energy and confidence.

Thai Yoga Massage awakens loving kindness and compassion. Thai Yoga increases blood and lymphatic flow, flexibility, and suppleness and relieves pain and soreness.

Thai Yoga Massage reveals the meridian, energy lines and reminds ourselves of the power of being. As Westerners, traditionally we create more stress for ourselves. Because we push excessively, trying to get that “to do list” complete, we override the body’s natural healing mechanism for renewal and balance. Thai Yoga Massage is a great way of remembering how to again – just be. As the movements release blocks and opens areas to healing energy within both the mind and body, the systems of the body come back into balance.

In 2004 and 2006, Michelle Maue, MSW, RYT trained with both Saul David Raye and Kam Tye Chow in Montreal, Canada. Michelle Maue received her Thai Yoga Massage Certification for Levels I and II in 2006. Her Thai Yoga Massage sessions last 90 minutes.

In order to prepare for this blissful and amazing private session, we suggest you drink plenty of water the day before and arrive on an empty belly. Also, take 2 or 3 hours after your session, to create a sacred intention to be present with yourself. You may assimilate the practice of Thai Yoga by remembering to receive all the blessings that are showered upon us each day. Treat yourself to the wonderful world of Thai Yoga Massage. According to Lotus Palm School Thai Yoga is “a therapy, it is yoga, it is stretching, it is beyond words.”

Here is what a few of Michelle’s clients say about Thai Yoga Massage:

“Michelle gives a great mind body experience with Thai yoga. Very relaxing and yet felt totally stretched out. Don’t let the small simple space fool you.” Marc Goldfarb

“If you have not tried Thai Yoga Massage – you are in for a treat! It is by far the most transformative combo of stretching and acupressure experience and body work out there. The methodology just works. You wear loose fitting clothing while the therapist works to stretch muscles you did not even know were tight. It is both relaxing and therapeutic. Michelle Maue is just such a master. Enjoy – your muscles will thank you and your peers will love your rejuvenated disposition!”
Lindsay Bush

“Love the Thai Massages that I receive from Michelle!! Her expertise and sensitivity to the body make this a totally positive experience!!! I would highly recommend her to anyone!!!!” Bob Richardson
