100 Days To Go

apple-16672_640We are nearly down to the last 100 days of 2015. On September 23rd we can begin the countdown: 100 days, 99 days, 98 days and so on….till this year ends.

How was your year so far? Did you manage to change some parts of your life for the better? Any great breakthroughs? Big changes? Major accomplishments? We hope you are in the progress of making this year truly wonderful!

Oh, you might feel a bit disappointed about your progress? Don’t be! First of all the year has still a bit more than 100 days to go. And you can get bring on a lot of positive change if you decide to take action and follow through. On the other hand, maybe you are at the place where you need to be. Learning and change can happen slowly and silently. All you experienced so far took you to this point in time and prepared you for the wonderful things to come.

There are so many awesome goals you can reach in the last 100 days of the year. We gathered a bunch of ways you can make the best of 2015.

Want to get happier, healthier and less stressed?

Add just one extra piece of fruit to your diet every day. An apple, a banana, a handful of blueberries or an orange? It doesn’t matter if you eat your most favorite fruit or try some exotic alternative, eating more fruit will make you more energized, happier and healthier. Remember the saying? “An apple a day keeps the doctor away.” Of course, feel free to add a veggie serving, too! For most people it is easier to add fruits, though.

Sleep more than usual. As getting up later is not a real option for most of us, try to go to sleep 1-2 hours earlier every night. First this will feel weird and resistance might come up….but give your body the gift of more sleep. It will influence your energy levels and how you respond the stress during the day. If you cannot fall asleep immediately, read a book or spend some time meditating.

Drink more! We don’t realize we are dehydrated until we get extremely thirsty. Especially if you get headaches frequently, pay attention to drinking enough. Sometimes those headaches can easily go away if you keep yourself hydrated. What to drink? The best choice is water. What if you crave flavor and don’t like plain water? Prepare your drinks at home. Any homemade lemonade is better than a soft drink prepared in a factory. Even if you use plenty of sugar to sweeten your drink, you will never use nearly as much sugar as it is contained in soft drinks you can buy.

Switch off the TV and your mobile devices at a certain time every night. Enjoy the “device-free” time. How about talking to your partner, writing in your journal, reflecting on the day’s successes or planning your next day? Or you might just spend a few minutes exploring the night sky.

Come to yoga regularly! You know already that there are so many benefits to practicing yoga! Take advantage of our September offer and you get the best deal on yoga classes till the end of this year. Purchase a 3-month unlimited yoga class card for just $150 and we give you December totally free. The earlier you buy, the more you benefit! Come to class once a week or five times – we know this will have a very favorable impact on your health!
