Clayton Yoga Teacher Training – 5 Key Ways to Absorb the Information

pay-634910_1280Our upcoming Yoga Teacher Training features five unique ways to absorb the information (Yoga buddy time, group practice, study guide and materials found on our yoga private training membership site, journal writing) and much more! What is wonderful about this teacher training is the level of support we bring. With four yoga teachers and only eight students, you will be presented with material in a most clear and direct manner.

We will work through the material one lesson at a time. In each separate module, the teacher will first instruct, show you how, then you as a student, have buddy time to practice and integrate before demonstrating in front of the group. The training is sequential and begins with nice and easy steps! When practiced, you will be able to accomplish more challenging assignments like sequence writing and yoga marketing.

We feel this program is truly wonderful because we not only teach you the basics of great yoga, we encourage you to find your own voice, and live your dreams more courageously with practical steps.

The Teacher Training includes 8 major tools!

●Breathing
●Restorative
●Yin Yoga
●Ashtanga Yoga
●Sanskrit
●Adjustments and Modifications
●Vinyasa Yoga
●Yoga Off the Mat

The 5 main ways in which will learn the CYTT tools include: yoga buddy time: a time that allows you personal freedom each day to choose the lesson topic and practice with a buddy to teach and receive. Secondly, practice with the group. Here every student will learn from group expert instructors that discuss relevant topics to better yoga teaching including:

●Customer service skills
●Sequence writing and demonstration of 20, 40 and 60 minute yoga classes
●Healing Feelings, encouraging students to go slow at the edge and cultivate greater compassion
●Ashtanga Yoga, in depth understanding of the bhandas, dhristi’s and sanskrit

The third way to integrate new material will be the use of Study Guide and Handouts and all new private yoga membership site. This site reserved only for clients signed up to the yoga program, www.claytonyogateachertraining.com will show you how to face ongoing and constant challenges one step at a time. Here, we show you how to teach yoga in any setting from gyms to corporations to yoga studios.

The fourth way to integrate this yoga training are journal exercises to develop and learn about your unique voice. Finding and developing your own genuine voice will help you as Pantajali once said, “to be a far greater person than you ever imagined yourself to be”. Journals provide a grounded, reflective tool to support you in your growth, difficult passages and any awkward or uncomfortable feelings. Journaling also provides space and time to reward yourself as you make progress!

●Write out your feelings, keeping the material personal for your own clarity
●Complete Homework Questions
●Quiet time during the day allows you to align yoga with your everyday values
●Prioritize what you would like to achieve and set short term goals
●Provide a backdrop to your progress through the course
●Dialogue with inner power + learn how to ask angels for guidance
Great tool to acknowledge growth, reward yourself and have fun making progress!

The fifth and most important tool is marketing. Understanding how to confidently navigate with your new training certification is key to making the most of your yoga training. This course will make time for you to develop yourself both as a professional and a yoga instructor. Michelle Maue will discuss her own journey starting out as a yoga teacher part-time at the local community college to now owning her own yoga studio and inspire you to start where you are and enjoy where you find yoga leads you on as well.

We welcome you and look forward to seeing you in our Clayton Yoga International 200-hour YA certified yoga teacher training course soon! For a copy of your yoga application, go to http://claytonyoga.com/application/.

Namaste!

I was excited to have our first class but was very nervous/anxious about actually getting to class and seeing what I was getting myself into, but when I met everyone for the first time early that morning, I could not have had a better feeling about it. Everyone is very open and has such a positively pure energy about them! I am excited to see what direction everyone chooses by the time we are all finished and I hope we all stay in contact with each other to give extra support and love outside of class! Definitely wanted to give a HUGE thank you to everyone for being so open minded, kind and non-judgmental.
