“I feel this is the right time in my life to enrich my yoga practice and knowledge. The role of teacher has always been a part of my life in my work and with my family. I am married with four children and have one new granddaughter. Clayton Yoga teacher training will increase my understanding of yoga postures, breathing and meditation.
After attending several yoga classes in various locations throughout St. Louis, I discovered Clayton Yoga’s approach refreshing and inspiring. At Clayton Yoga, I felt an instant connection to the nurturing and encouraging influences of Michelle Maue, the director and owner. I appreciate the simple, relevant, easy to understand, and easy to follow instructions.
I find that by keeping the focus on being resourceful and appreciative, I can generate greater stamina, creativity and resiliency both in my personal and professional life. I have learned that developing new traits like spontaneity, finding more adventure and sharing from this open place brings about inner peace and exciting new possibilities.
I feel a strong spiritual calling to give back and believe that by making a positive contribution, everything I need will be provided. I plan on teaching two to three times per week as soon as possible and opening my own yoga studio within the next 5 years.
I have many positive attributes such as dependability, trustworthiness, and foresight. At one point in my life, I had forgotten about the strong positive attributes that were always a part of me, I just had to open my heart to experience them again. I found yoga to be a deeply peaceful and transformative journey into health and healing.
My goal is to provide complementary wellness and utilize my 35 years of experience as advocate for health and wellness to guide people into their own personal vision quest and realign with what is really important to us in our own lives. With over 35 years’ experience as a RN, I have worked the majority of my career at Barnes Jewish Hospital and currently work as a Nurse Practitioner at Washington University School of Medicine. I work with surgery patients and many with cancer.
I believe my direct experience with yoga will help me guide and nurture people to feel good about their own body, accept their limitations and experience the power and strength inside each of us through yoga practice!”
If you ever thought about getting certified and begin teaching yoga, this is definitely the right time to make the decision and sign up for training.
