Q#2) Will there be time for other activities? What is a typical day for this yoga schedule? Do I have time to do other things while I am here in this beautiful Mexican village town?
Each day, our course begins at 7am giving you plenty of time for an early cup of coffee and some nice note taking on your own personal veranda overlooking the ocean or perhaps a quick dip in the sea. Each day, we enjoy a nice long lunch break (90 minutes) followed by a one hour Yoga Nidra in the early afternoon. Yoga Nidra is a yogic practice that places the body into Savasana and allows us to completely rest the mind and give each practitioner time to settle into full, complete and relaxed meditation. We begin again after Yoga Nidra with the afternoon’s session and are free to pursue our own activities each day at 5pm. Please note that you will receive homework materials to review in your room or enjoy while you walk into town and/or jump in the ocean. We highly recommend that you also take part in the outside yoga training activities, such as kayaking, swimming, snorkeling, bicycle riding, attending a local fish fry, or enjoying some of the local cuisine in town and on the beach.
